AstroStella respects your right to control your personal data. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time.
Request Account Deletion
We will send a confirmation email to verify your identity. Click the link in the email to permanently delete your account. The link expires in 24 hours.
Alternative: Delete from the App
- Open the AstroStella app on your device.
- Go to Settings (tap the gear icon in the top right).
- Tap Privacy.
- Tap Delete My Account.
- Confirm by tapping Delete in the confirmation dialog.
What Data Is Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:
- Account information — email address, display name, and authentication credentials.
- Birth data — date, time, and place of birth used for your birth chart and horoscopes.
- Reading history — all tarot readings, palm readings, and birth chart data.
- Chat sessions — all conversations with Stella, our AI assistant.
- Usage records — daily and weekly feature usage counters.
- Preferences — language, notification, and privacy consent settings.
What Data Is Retained & For How Long
- Subscription and payment records — managed by the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and RevenueCat. These records are governed by their respective retention policies and are not stored in AstroStella’s own systems. To manage or cancel a subscription, visit your app store’s subscription settings.
- Aggregated, anonymized analytics — non-identifiable usage statistics (e.g., total number of readings per day) may be retained indefinitely. These cannot be linked back to you.
Retention Timeline
- Your data is removed from our live database immediately upon deletion.
- Backups containing your data are purged within 90 days of the deletion request.
Important Notes
- Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. You will not be able to recover your account, reading history, or chat sessions.
- Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. Please cancel your subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store before deleting your account to avoid future charges.
- If you would like a copy of your data before deleting your account, use the Export My Data option in Settings > Privacy within the app.
