These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the AstroStella mobile application (“App”) and the website at astrostella.fr (“Website”), operated by AstroStella (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By downloading, installing, or using AstroStella, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use AstroStella. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and consented to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Account Registration

To access AstroStella’s features, you must create an account using a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • All activity that occurs under your account.
  • Providing accurate and complete information during registration.

You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Services Description

AstroStella provides the following features:

  • Daily Horoscopes: AI-generated horoscope content based on zodiac sign.
  • Tarot Readings: AI-interpreted tarot card draws and spread interpretations.
  • Palm Reading: AI-powered analysis of palm photographs captured through your device camera.
  • Birth Chart: Natal chart calculation using Swiss Ephemeris astronomical data, with AI-generated interpretations.
  • Current Sky: Real-time planetary transit information, moon phases, and retrograde data.
  • Stella AI Chat: Conversational AI assistant for astrology-related questions and guidance.

4. Entertainment Disclaimer

AstroStella is an entertainment service. All horoscopes, tarot readings, palm readings, birth chart interpretations, and AI chat responses are generated by artificial intelligence for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to medical, psychological, financial, legal, or relationship advice.

You should not make important life decisions based solely on content provided by AstroStella. If you need professional guidance, please consult a qualified professional in the relevant field.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Free Tier (Stardust)

AstroStella offers a free tier with limited access: daily horoscope, 1 tarot reading per day, 1 palm reading per week, birth chart overview, and 3 AI chat messages per day.

5.2 Premium Tier (Celestial)

The Celestial subscription unlocks unlimited access to all features. Pricing is $9.99/month or $79.99/year. A 7-day free trial may be offered to new subscribers.

5.3 Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your platform.
  • Payment is charged to your App Store or Play Store account upon confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • You can manage and cancel your subscription through your device’s subscription settings (App Store > Subscriptions or Google Play > Subscriptions).

5.4 Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, it begins when you subscribe and lasts 7 days. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial expires, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the applicable rate.

5.5 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App’s servers or infrastructure.
  • Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the App.
  • Share your account credentials with others or create multiple accounts.
  • Upload malicious content, harmful images, or offensive material through the palm reading feature.
  • Use the AI chat to generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, animations, code, and AI-generated text within AstroStella are owned by or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our written permission.

AI-generated readings and chat responses are provided to you for personal use only. You may share individual readings through the App’s built-in sharing functionality.

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • AstroStella is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any astrological content, AI-generated readings, or ephemeris data.
  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
  • Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AstroStella, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by using the “Delete My Account” feature in Settings > Privacy. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Data deletion upon account termination is governed by our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through an in-app notification. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the App and delete your account.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
