The opposition to the tropical zero is not a metaphor on this page. Aries occupies 0°–30°, center 15°. Libra occupies 180°–210°, center 195°. The center-to-center separation is 180°, and 180° is the opposition angle, with an orb of 8° when planets are compared. Libra is the only sign whose window contains the 180° mark. Virgo stops just before it.
Venus rules Libra and also rules Taurus. Those centers are 150° apart, which this engine does not score: 150° is 30° short of opposition and 30° past the trine, both outside the 8° orb. The popular idea that the two Venus signs “agree” is not an aspect the calculator emits. What the calculator does emit, for Libra, is a trine to the other air signs, Aquarius and Gemini, at 120°.
Squares from Libra land on Cancer and Capricorn, the other cardinal signs except the Aries opposition. Sextiles, orb 6°, land on Leo and Sagittarius. Neighbors at 30° are Virgo and Scorpio. Cardinal air exists only in this 30° slice. The sun sign dates the Sun’s longitude. The Descendant of a chart is the point opposite the Ascendant, which is a horizon angle, not “Libra.” Do not read a Libra sun as a known descendant.

Questions
Which sign is exactly opposite Aries?
Libra. Centers at 15° and 195° are 180° apart, and 180° is the opposition, orb 8°.
Do the Venus-ruled signs form an aspect?
Taurus and Libra are 150° apart. That gap is outside every orb in the engine, so no major aspect is recorded.
Is a Libra sun the Descendant?
No. The Descendant is opposite the Ascendant on the horizon. It depends on birth time and place. Libra is a 30° ecliptic sector for the Sun.
