♏ Scorpio — ecliptic 210° to 240°

Traditional texts often give Scorpio to Mars, the same planet that rules Aries. This site’s sign data does not. The ruler field is Pluto. Mars is still computed on every sky map and every birth chart, as its own longitude, speed, and sign. Pluto is computed too. If a reading needs Mars, it should read the Mars row, not infer Mars from a Scorpio sun.

Fixed water’s trines are the other water signs, Cancer and Pisces, at 120° with an 8° orb. The opposition is Taurus at 180°. Leo and Aquarius are the squares at 90°. Virgo and Capricorn are the sextiles at 60°, orb 6°. Libra and Sagittarius sit on either border at 30° and receive no major aspect. Aries, the Mars-ruled sign, is 150° from Scorpio’s center, another ignored separation. So even if you prefer the traditional ruler, the engine still would not place a major aspect between Aries and Scorpio on sign centers.

A Scorpio sun sign is the Sun between 210° and 240°. Pluto’s sign that day is whatever longitude Pluto has, which changes slowly and is often not Scorpio. The sky table is the check. Houses remain Placidus by default in the birth-chart request, and they still need a clock time.
