♉ Taurus — ecliptic 30° to 60°
Taurus occupies tropical ecliptic longitude 30°–60°, about 30 days from 20 April to 20 May. It is fixed earth, ruled by Venus, and it begins exactly where Aries ends.

Thirty degrees is the entire width of one sign, and it is also the gap between the Aries center and the Taurus center. The conjunction orb in this engine is 8°. A 30° gap is 22° past that allowance, so the two neighboring signs are not a conjunction. People often talk about “Aries–Taurus cusp” as if the engine blended the signs. It does not. Longitude 29.9° is Aries. Longitude 30.0° is Taurus.
Venus rules Taurus. Venus also rules Libra, and those two centers are 150° apart (45° to 195°). One hundred fifty degrees misses opposition by 30° and misses the trine by 30°, both wider than the 8° orb. The engine therefore records no major aspect between the two Venus-ruled signs. That is a property of the angles, not a judgment about the planet. The other Venus fact people expect — a soft link between Taurus and Libra — is not in the aspect table.
Taurus is fixed earth. Virgo is mutable earth and Capricorn is cardinal earth. The trine partners, at 120°, are those other earth signs: Virgo and Capricorn, each with an 8° orb. Scorpio is the opposition at 180°. Leo and Aquarius are the squares at 90°. Cancer and Pisces are the sextiles at 60°, and they are the pair that uses the tighter 6° orb. Aries and Gemini, the neighbors, stay at 30° and are unscored. Knowing the Sun was in Taurus fixes only this 30° solar sector. Houses, the Ascendant, and Venus’s own sign still require a timed chart.

Questions
Why is Taurus not conjunct Aries here?
Their centers are 30° apart. The conjunction orb is 8°, so 30° is outside it. The signs share a boundary at 30° longitude, not an aspect.
How far apart are the two Venus-ruled signs?
Taurus and Libra are 150° apart from center to center. That misses both the 120° trine and the 180° opposition by 30°, which is wider than the 8° orb, so the engine records no major aspect.
What does a Taurus sun sign leave out?
It places the Sun between 30° and 60°. It does not place Venus, the Moon, or the Ascendant. Those come from the full birth chart.
